Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towars preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programs. The Training and Placement Cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students. It strives to conduct Campus Connect Programs for the benefit of the students by coordinating with the industry.

IPS Group of colleges has done MOU with "HeroMindmine Pvt. Career Development Workshop- TMI First. A one day work shop on career development was organized by TMI First. The motto behind the workshop was to make our students aware about the current trends of corporate. The corporate trainer from TMI First Mr. Sai, who is having a vast experience in the field of training, gave the knacks to the students about the preliminary rounds of the interview and how one can increase the reasoning power. The whole activity was an interactive session and during the session he played so many management games to make the students understand about the team spirit, reasoning power, interpersonal skills and behavioral etiquettes.

Corporate Communication- Captain Moushumi Rana- HR Punj Lloyd: A seminar was organized for the final year students of MBA about the Corporate Communication. During the session she explained the importance of corporate communication and barriers to communication and how these problems can be resolved. She elucidated communications problems in various segments like in mechanical Industry, Information Technology etc. During the session, Ms. Moushumi also shared various tips with the students by means of some role play, which will help them in their corporate life.

Why MBA- T.I.M.E. Institute. To make our students aware about various competitive examinations, P.G. Courses etc., training & placement cell regularly organizes various seminars to keep our students up to date. In this series with the help of T.I.M.E Institute - Gwalior, a one day workshop was organized on �Why MBA� and how one can prepare about the various entrance examinations for B-Schools. During the session the trainer from T.I.M.E. Institute shared the knacks about various segments like vocabulary, reasoning, aptitude etc.

Career in Merchant Navy- Samundram. For the final and pre-final year students of mechanical engineering who have keen interest in making their career in the field of merchant navy, one day seminar was organized on Career in Merchant Navy. HR executive Mr. Gaurav from Samundram Institute of Maritime Studies (also known as an Executive Ship Management PTE. LTD, Singapore) was invited to deliver the talk on future prospective in the merchant navy. He explained various fields related to merchant navy and how students can get the admission in such institutes who provide the training for merchant navy. He said that the highly paid engineers in this field are from India and still there is a huge gap in the demand and supply in terms of jobs. This company conducted entrance examination twice the year for engineering students and 10+2 students as well. They have their offices in various distant places and out of them one of the office is in Lonavala ,INDIA
