Overview

A Harvard study on employability says that 85% of one's success at the workplace is attributed to soft skills and only 15% to technical skills.
Although a large number of various fields' students (Engineering, Management, Education and Pharmacy) graduate every year, not many have been found industry-ready either due to lack of institute-industry interaction or lack of focus on soft skills and orientation towards placement / HR policies of corporate world. To address these issues, the management of the institute has come up with an innovative Finishing School. It is a unique institute in itself whose sole purpose is to develop and deliver programmes, modules, short-term courses and capsules which strengthen soft, managerial and communication skills of the students besides day-to-day learning of the various subjects & topics. The curriculum of IPS Finishing School has been drawn in consultation with the Corporate Advisory Board, the Industry Interface Development Centre and other distinguished people from the industry.

Objective

  • To motivate students for leadership qualities and aptitude needed by the profession.
  • To shape the personality and attitude of students for better future.
  • Brushing up of skills acquired by the students.
  • Orientation towards the Placement and HR policies of companies
