The scientific revolution is largely driven by advances in pharmaceutical technology, biotechnology, (Molecular biology, Life Sciences, Healthcare Sciences), computer sciences. With such incredible changes the definition of pharmaceutical sciences will have to be altered and consequently the prospective role of pharmacist, pharmacy profession and pharmacy education need to be redefined. During last decade pharmaceutical industry under went a complete transformation due to liberalization and globalization.

Pharmacists are your primary conduit to medications, and one of our principal goals is to improve the quality of life for those who come to us for help. To cater the increasing demand in the field of industrial pharmacy, Medicare programs, Pharmaceutical education and research we are continuously engaged in the practice to provide trained graduate pharmaceutical manpower through prescribed programes like M. Pharm and B. Pharm adequately with professional pharmaceutical education and effective competency.

The Institute of Professional Studies-College of Pharmacy trains tomorrow’s practitioners and researchers in the dynamic field of pharmacy. Our Institute is unique and premier institute in North region of Madhya Pradesh.

Our faculty and students are involved in innovative research that will lead to the life-enhancing drugs of the future. We have the unique features which makes us more efficient and pioneer in this field is our Sophisticated Modern Instrument Analysis Laboratory which is well equipped with modern analytical instruments and the Pharma Pilot Plant for scale up techniques.

Frequently organized National level Workshops and Seminars which are funded by National and State level funding agencies in the Institute increase student’s working knowledge and make their knowledge up to date with the fast changing global scenario of the industry and research area.

Journals serve as a vehicle for the rapid dissemination of information, which is essential because of the cumulative nature of science. Keeping this view in mind we have brought out an International Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences titled “PHARMACIA” (first issue published) to share the knowledge amongst pharmaceutical community.

I, along with my team of eminent workers and dedicated faculty, intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards in all spheres, to the zenith. My aim is not only to be an able administrator but also to be a friend, philosopher and guide to students one whom they can count on and trust at all times.
